Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee has been actively conducting campaign meetings across districts despite the scorching afternoon heat. With the second round of voting scheduled for Friday, the chief minister recently held a meeting in Dathan, West Medinipur, during the hot afternoon hours.
During these meetings, Mamata Banerjee has been launching a fierce attack on the BJP, challenging the ruling party on various fronts. She has called upon the BJP to present the report card of its governance and crime rates in Uttar Pradesh. Mamata challenged on allegations of rigging in housing and MNREGA funds, asking BJP to present the report card of UP and Madhya Pradesh so that it will be known who is the looter.
"First bring Uttar Pradesh's report card," said Mamata.
Further encouraging people to support TMC she highlights her Lakhi Bhandar scheme and says, "If you want Lakhi Bhandar, then uproot BJP's bhandar from Bengal."
