Mamata's dharna against centre continues, demands 'Delhi Chalo' protest

West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, has accused the central government of discriminating against her state, as she continues her second day of dharna against the Centre. Banerjee alleged that the central government has withheld funds for several key schemes in West Bengal, including the housing scheme and the 100 days employment guarantee scheme.

Addressing the crowd gathered at the protest site, Banerjee called for a 'Delhi Chalo' movement to demand the release of funds from the central government. She also urged citizens to take out a peaceful procession on the occasion of Ram Navami.

The ongoing standoff between the West Bengal government and the central government has led to a political crisis in the state. Banerjee's protest has garnered support from several opposition leaders, who have also criticized the central government's alleged bias towards West Bengal.

The central government has yet to respond to Banerjee's accusations, but the ongoing protests could have far-reaching implications for the state's political future.
