A tragic accident occurred late last night when Pintu Kumar, a resident of Bihar, fell from a train traveling from Bengaluru to Howrah. The incident took place around 11:30 PM near Baltikudi Halt station, located on the South Eastern Railway's route. Railway authorities were immediately alerted by the train's guard at 11:40 PM, but the body remained on the tracks for several hours. Despite the early notification, it took nine hours for the body to be recovered, sparking concerns about the response time.

The delay in recovering the body raises questions regarding the railway's emergency protocols. An investigation has been initiated to examine the sequence of events, and the authorities are under scrutiny for their handling of the situation.
