Jr Doctors announce 'hunger strike' from today, says demands not met
Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Manish Sisodia, currently under judicial custody in Tihar Jail due to an alleged excise policy scam, was permitted by a Delhi court to visit his ailing wife, Seema. Sisodia reached his residence on Mathura Road accompanied by police personnel in a prison van, having been granted a seven-hour window (10 am to 5 pm) to meet his wife, who is reportedly suffering from an acute attack of multiple sclerosis.
The court order restricts Sisodia from interacting with the media and engaging in any political activity during the visit.
