Marriage proposals flooding for Cockroach leader Abhijeet Dipke, says mother

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke's family has been receiving a growing number of marriage proposals since he emerged as the face of the organisation's nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak. His mother, Anita Dipke, said proposals had been coming even before the protests began but had increased significantly after her son became widely known during the movement. She said the family had previously discussed marriage with Dipke while he was in Boston, but he did not share any specific plans.

Anita Dipke said her son responded with a smile when the family raised the subject of marriage and added that they intend to discuss it with him again after he returns home in the coming days. She said the final decision would rest with him. Abhijeet Dipke is 30 years old and has recently been at the forefront of the CJP-led agitation over the alleged examination irregularities.

Although the protest at Jantar Mantar has ended after the Centre accepted one of the group's key demands, Dipke said the movement would continue. In a post on X, he described the end of the protest as "just the beginning" and said the organisation still had "a long way to go." He also demanded ₹1 crore in compensation for the families of students who allegedly died by suicide during the examination controversy, while CJP leaders said the organisation would continue campaigning for education reforms and issues affecting young people.
