A fire broke out around 6 AM on Saturday at a four-story building on Narkeldanga Road, where a large quantity of paper boxes was stored. The fire spread rapidly, producing thick smoke that covered the area. Residents attempted to control the flames before alerting the fire department. Seven fire engines were deployed to the scene, and firefighters used hose pipes to douse the fire. Heavy smoke reduced visibility, making firefighting operations challenging.
