In a devastating incident, a fire broke out in the godown of a grocery store located in the Entally area, causing extensive damage to goods worth lakhs of rupees.
Police sources confirmed the incident on Tuesday, revealing the alarming details of the incident. The fire originated in the godown situated at Christopher Road around 2:30 pm, triggering a challenging battle for the fire department.
The intensity of the blaze can be gauged by the fact that seven fire department vehicles were deployed to combat the flames, which raged for approximately three hours.
Firefighters exhibited immense perseverance and skill as they fought tirelessly to bring the fire under control. Finally, around 5:30 am, the fire was successfully extinguished, bringing relief to the affected area.
