Changile Ladlo Market, a bustling hub of trade and commerce in the area, was engulfed by a huge fire on Monday afternoon. The inferno, which broke out at around 1.15 pm, resulted in the destruction of around 150 shops, both permanent and temporary.
Local sources report that the fire brigade was alerted and three fire tenders were dispatched to the scene. After several hours of intense effort, the fire was finally brought under control.
However, some businessmen from the market are alleging that the fire was intentionally started by mill officials. They claim that if the fire brigade had arrived at the scene earlier, the damage would have been significantly less.
The incident has caused significant disruption to the local community and the affected businesses. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and are working to provide support to those impacted by the disaster.
