Lalit Jha, identified as one of the masterminds behind the smoke can incident in Parliament, has been found to have clear connections in Kolkata.
Lalit Mohan Jha voluntarily surrendered before the Kartavya Path Police station in Delhi on Thursday evening.
Lalit lived with his parents and brother in Palpara, Baguiati, for approximately three years. Neighbors have reported that while Lalit's family left for Bihar on December 10, he remained in their Palpara residence, assuring them of his return in a few days.
Local residents have describe Lalit Jha as a teacher and a generally well-regarded individual.
Jha recorded the breach on his cellphone and shared it on social media, citing concerns about growing unemployment, farmers' issues, and the situation in Manipur as the motives behind the unusual "smoke protest."
