Mayor Firhad Hakim has issued a stern warning, declaring that individuals purchasing "Banglar Bari" (homes) from the poor will face financial losses and will not acquire ownership rights. The mayor emphasized that the Urban Development Department will not assume responsibility for such transactions, asserting that buyers will bear the consequences themselves.
Furthermore, Mayor Hakim further expressed personal frustration with the issue of illegal parking, stating that it disrupts his daily life, and issued a citywide alert, firmly declaring a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal parking within the metropolis.
