Metro services on the DN line were disrupted on Monday following a suicide attempt at Rabindra Sarobar Metro station at around 4:10 PM. Authorities stated that normal services were affected after the incident, prompting officials to suspend operations on a section of the route and initiate rescue operations after taking a power block. At present, truncated Metro services are being operated between Shahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations, and between Maidan and Dakshineswar stations. Rescue operations are currently underway at the affected station as Metro Railway personnel continue restoration efforts following the disruption.
