Delhi Airport reported temporary impacts on some services due to the global IT outage, assuring efforts to minimize passenger inconvenience. Official sources at Chennai airport confirmed that routine passenger-centric activities were disrupted due to the 'server outage,' with IndiGo acknowledging the issue with Azure affecting their systems.
Stranded passengers expressed their frustrations on social media, highlighting the inconvenience caused by the outages. One passenger stuck at Dubai airport tweeted about the prolonged delay, while another in Goa recounted the chaos of receiving handwritten boarding passes.
Akasa Airlines announced temporary unavailability of some online services at Mumbai and Delhi airports and advised passengers to arrive early for manual check-in processes. Similarly, SpiceJet and Air India Express issued statements about the technical issues affecting their operations, urging passengers to plan their travel accordingly.
