MMIC Tarak Singh assures zero waterlogging in Kolkata amid storm and heavy rain alerts | Watch

Tarak Singh, MMIC Sewerage & Drainage including Drainage Pumping Station and SC (Mechanical), has stated that just as the Meteorological Department is on alert for the storm and rainfall, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is also in alert mode. He assured that despite continuous rainfall, waterlogging will not be allowed in Kolkata. If the lock gates remain open, they will drain the water out as quickly as possible. There is no cause for concern in this regard.
