Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Uttar Pradesh, where he launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav. Modi questioned Yadav on whether he discussed with Mamata Banerjee, whom he referred to as 'bua' (aunt), her labeling of people from Uttar Pradesh as outsiders in West Bengal.
Continuing his criticism of Akhilesh Yadav, Modi emphasized the unity of all Indians as children of 'Bharat Mata' (Mother India) and questioned the Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader's derogatory remarks towards people from Uttar Pradesh visiting West Bengal. He urged Yadav to question his new ally, Mamata Banerjee, about her stance on this issue.
Further, referring to the past alliance between the SP and Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the 2019 elections, Modi remarked on how the previous association ended, with Mayawati distancing herself from the SP. He suggested that the SP has now brought in Mamata Banerjee from Bengal, indicating their collaboration.
PM Modi also targeted the Congress and SP regarding their stance on the Ram temple in Ayodhya, highlighting the transformation of the area under their rule compared to the present.
