A distressing incident unfolded in the village of Daula, Baghpat, a young girl was subjected to a horrifying attempt at sexual assault. The perpetrator, whose identity remains unknown, lured the UKG student to an abandoned house to harm her. There, he took off her clothes and attempted to sexually assault her.
However, a troop of monkeys appeared on the scene, their aggressive behavior startled the assailant, forcing him to flee and allowing the child to escape unharmed.
Her father said, "My daughter was playing outside when the accused took her away. The man could be seen in nearby CCTV footage, walking on a narrow lane with my daughter. He is yet to be identified though. He also threatened my child that he would kill me... My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened."
Authorities have called on the public to assist with any information that could aid in the capture of the suspect involved in the attempted assault. “We are doing everything in our power to catch the accused,” a police official said. Charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act have been filed against the unidentified individual.
