Motorcyclist killed after head-on collision with speeding car on Nagerbazar flyover

A motorcyclist died and a car driver sustained critical injuries following a severe road accident on the Nagerbazar flyover late Thursday night. The incident occurred around 11:00 PM when a speeding four-wheeled vehicle and a motorcycle collided head-on on the flyover. The motorcyclist, identified as Vishal Kumar Deulia, suffered catastrophic injuries after being thrown off the flyover due to the impact of the collision. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

According to available information, the four-wheeled vehicle was travelling from the airport side towards Dum Dum Park at the time of the accident. Simultaneously, the motorcycle was approaching from the opposite direction towards the airport. During the journey, the motorcycle allegedly lost control, resulting in a violent head-on crash between the two vehicles. The impact of the collision was reportedly so intense that the motorcycle rider was flung from the flyover onto the road below.

Following the collision, the four-wheeled vehicle rammed into the divider on the flyover. The driver of the car, identified as Rakesh Agarwal, sustained serious injuries in the accident and was admitted to Dum Dum Municipality Hospital for treatment. Hospital sources stated that his condition remains critical. Police reached the scene soon after the incident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
