The Parliament has been witnessing several instances of ruckus following one of the major security breaches on December 13. In view of this, a total of 92 MPs from both the Houses - Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha - were suspended, with the opposition parties describing it as a “mockery of democracy”.
In a recent development, Lok Sabha suspends 49 MPs including Supriya Sule, Farooq Abdullah, Shashi Tharoor, Danish Ali, Karti Chidambaram, Sudip Bandhopadhyay, among others following a ruckus in Parliament.

The Lower House remains adjourned till 2 pm after 49 more MPs suspended.
In a similar vein Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm after opposition leaders mimic RS chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla inside the Parliament premises. According to Dhankhar, the act was “ridiculous and shameful”.
