Mumbai doctor slams IIT-JEE and NEET as

A Mumbai-based doctor's critique of the IIT-JEE and NEET exams sparked a heated exchange with Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal. Munjal responded to the doctor's assertion that such standardized tests are "useless" by defending their merit and significance. In a tweet, Munjal emphasized the transformative impact of these exams, stating, "Next time you go to a Hospital / please ask for a doctor who got admission through management quota and not NEET. These exams are merit-based / they are probably the best products that India has created."

Munjal's remarks ignited further debate when the doctor questioned the fairness and efficacy of these exams, highlighting the struggles faced by millions of aspirants who invest significant time and effort only to be unsuccessful. The doctor argued that such exams perpetuate inequality by favoring the affluent.
