The accident happened while parachuting in Malpura police station area of Agra.

Navy commando Ankur Sharma was killed after his parachute got entangled in a high-tension wire while jumping from a height of 8,000 feet.
The accident happened while parachuting in Malpura police station area of Agra. Initially, Sharma was seriously injured in the accident and was admitted to a military hospital. He succumbed to his injuries while being treated.Sharma was badly burnt in the fire and died during treatment.
He was a resident of Bishnoi area of Jammu and is survived by his parents, brother and sister-in-law. Sharma's family and villagers are shocked by the sudden death of the young man. His last rites were performed with full military honors in Samba. His remains were initially brought to his home and later taken to Parmandal's Samba region for last rites as per family tradition, officials said.
The body was flown to Jammu from Uttar Pradesh before reaching Bishnah tehsil, his residence. His family members including his parents were inconsolable and tried to touch the tricolor draped casket.
The commander was cremated with full state honors, with salutes, officials said. The last rites were attended by senior officials of the army, navy, air force, police and civil officials.
