Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's family criticized Kangana Ranaut for referring to him as the first Prime Minister of India, stating, "No one should distort history."Sharing a news article in a post on X, Subhas Chandra Bose's grand-nephew Chandra Kumar Bose said, "No one should "distort history for their political ambition.
"Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a political thinker, soldier, statesman, visionary and the 1st PM of undivided India. The only leader who could unite all communities as Bharatiyas to fight for India’s freedom. Real respect to the leader would be to follow his inclusive ideology," Chandra Kumar Bose said in another post.
Notably, Chandra Kumar Bose resigned from the BJP in September last year, saying that his principles are not aligned with the party. His resignation had come amid the India vs Bharat row.His remarks came after Kangana Ranaut, who is the BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, hit back at trolls on social media over her remark about Netaji.
