New step towards Viksit Bharat as 3 Vande Bharat express trains start

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two new Vande Bharat trains for Tamil Nadu on Saturday via video conferencing. The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat and the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat trains. Here are the fare details for these premium trains announced by the Southern Railway.

This boosts connectivity in three States of Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as stream line travel between these major cities, fostering economic and cultural exchange in the state’s northern region. This route is expected to ease the commute for passengers and promote regional and state development.

These trains will operate on the routes from Meerut to Lucknow, Chennai to Nagercoil, and Bengaluru to Madurai. Vande Bharat Express will improve travel links in the northern part of the country between Meerut and Lucknow, Chennai to Nagercoil Vande Bharat train serving the southern region and Bengaluru and Madurai, facilitating better access between these important cities in the south.
