In a significant development, the Railway Ministry fulfilled the longstanding demand of Mirzachowki residents in Jharkhand by inaugurating stoppages for two trains at the local station. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey marked the occasion by flagging off the Gaya-Howrah Express, bringing joy to the people of Sahibganj.
The move simplifies travel to Patna and Howrah, connecting Mirzachowki to major destinations, a gesture widely celebrated by the locals.
Godda MP Nishikant Dubey, along with former MLA Tala Marandi and DRM Malda Vikas Choubey, participated in the inauguration ceremony. The two trains, Sahibganj-Patna Intercity and Gaya-Howrah Express, commenced their stoppage at Mirzachowki, serving the travel needs of residents in the region.
The event, attended by local dignitaries and hundreds of villagers, generated a festive atmosphere, with gratitude expressed for the improved connectivity.
