Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has thrown a word of caution for the BJP asking the party not to "commit the same mistake as Congress" which saw the grand-old party's exit from power. Gadkari also reminded the saffron party that "BJP is a party with a difference" and its cadres and leaders should always remember that.
"If we continue doing what the Congress used to do, there is no use of their exit and our entry," Gadkari said. Gadkari also remembered his political mentor and BJP stalwart LK Advani, highlighting his "BJP is a party with a difference" remark.
"That is why, in the days to come, party cadres should know that politics is an instrument for bringing social and economic reforms," he said. "We have to create a corruption-free country and for that, we should have a plan in place," he added.
