NIA searches Saokat Molla’s home and party office, son questioned in Bhangar blast case
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has launched a landmark initiative for the elderly population of Bihar under the "Saat Nishchay-3" (Seven Resolves Part 3) program. Titled 'Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasaan', the scheme aims to transform the lives of senior citizens by providing essential healthcare services directly at their doorsteps. In a social media post, the CM emphasized that his government views the entire state as one family and is committed to ensuring a life of dignity and ease for every citizen.
The newly announced scheme focuses on five key medical areas to reduce the struggle of elderly individuals visiting hospitals. These include professional nursing assistance, home-based pathology tests, blood pressure and ECG monitoring, and specialized physiotherapy sessions. Furthermore, the Health Department has been directed to establish a robust mechanism for providing immediate medical aid during emergencies at the patient’s residence.
Nitish Kumar has urged the Health Department to implement this plan on a priority basis to propel Bihar into the league of the country's most developed states by 2030. The Chief Minister highlighted that since taking office in 2005, his administration has consistently worked on the principle of "Development with Justice." This new phase of governance is specifically tailored to address the age-related health vulnerabilities of the state's senior population.
In a move to make the policy more inclusive, the government has also invited suggestions from the public. Citizens can share their ideas on additional facilities for seniors via email or post to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. By integrating public feedback with administrative action, the Bihar government aims to refine the 'Ease of Living' goal, making healthcare more accessible and personalized for those who need it the most.
