NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Sunday that his monthly radio program, 'Mann ki Baat', will be suspended for the next three months in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. With the possibility of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) being enforced in March, PM Modi cited the need to maintain political decorum during the election period, echoing the precedent set during previous polls.
Addressing the nation, PM Modi emphasized the significance of respecting political protocols, stating, "Although Mann Ki Baat is a program of the people for the people, of the people and by the people, maintaining political decorum, 'Mann Ki Baat' won’t be broadcast for the next three months given upcoming Lok Sabha polls." Additionally, he expressed optimism about resuming the program with the auspicious 111th episode after the election period, urging first-time voters to actively participate in the democratic process.
