Old age allowance of Rs 1000 disbursed to 76,120 elderly residents in Diamond Harbour

In a significant move ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the distribution of old age allowance amounting to Rs 1000 each to 76,120 elderly individuals in Diamond Harbour has been initiated. The announcement of this welfare measure coincided with the Lok Sabha election declaration. Additionally, addressing the ongoing internal dispute within the Trinamool Congress in Bengal, a party leader Abhishek Banerjee emphasized unity under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, clarifying that there are no internal differences.
