Hindu organizations want to hold processions at more than 500 locations around West Bengal in order to celebrate the Ram Navami festival on a huge scale. The Hindu Jagran Manch will celebrate Ram Navami at 600 locations in West Bengal as Vishwa Hindu Parishad prepares to commemorate with full fervor.
Debashish Chakrabarty, the leader of the Hindu Jagran Manch, promised a great celebration of the occasion, particularly in the West Bengal regions of South 24 Parganas and Howrah.
"Ram Navami will be observed with greater splendor. There will be 600 pujas and 175 rallies held in South Bengal alone. We are planning to hold more than 170 rallies throughout north Bengal. The largest one will take place in Mandir Bazaar, where 60,000 people will be employed." Debashish Chakraborty reported.
He added that during Ram Navami, the Hindu Jagran Manch intends to hold both armed and unarmed rallies. " Both armed and unarmed rallies will take place. According to the law, protests held prior to 2018 will continue. If it is an old one, we don't need to get permission; we'll only get a notice. There is no need for permission because it is our fundamental right," said Debashish Chakrabarty.
Debashish Chakraborty claims that the Hindu Jagran Manch will also remove the sculptures from the Ayodhya Ram Temple tableaus that are still being built in other Bengali regions.
Debashish Chakrabarty stated, "We will put up a tableau of the Ram Mandir, which is under construction, in several areas like Chandannagar and Barasat."
