Jr Doctors announce 'hunger strike' from today, says demands not met
A dramatic incident unfolded at Jaipur Airport when a 17-year-old girl from Rajasthan attempted to flee to Pakistan to meet her Instagram lover. The girl's journey began with an argument with her paternal aunt in Sri Madhopur area of Sikar district, leading her to take a bus to Jaipur. She arrived at the airport with two companions, and at first, the airport staff thought her request for a ticket to Pakistan was a joke.
However, during questioning, the teenager revealed that she is a Pakistani national who had come to India three years ago with her paternal aunt. She had befriended someone named Aslam Lahori from Lahore on Instagram, and they had been in contact for over a year. Investigations indicated that the girl was brainwashed by the Pakistani youth, who provided instructions on how to behave at the airport and taught her a fabricated story.
The police confiscated her mobile phone for further examination and informed her family about the incident, as they were unaware of her plan to flee to Pakistan. The girl's academic achievements were praised, having recently passed her class 12th examinations. It was also revealed that her father is in the army, although this information has not been officially confirmed yet.
As the investigation continues, the police will probe how the girl and other girls came into contact with the Pakistani national and explore the extent of the brainwashing influence. The incident sheds light on the dangers of online relationships and the need for awareness and vigilance among young individuals when engaging with strangers on social media platforms.
