Open threats to the BJP for their meeting on November 29

Political tension rises in the Hooghly-Chunchura Municipality area of Hooghly district as a controversial poster, written in Bengali with black ink on white paper, was discovered in the Keota Battala area of Ward No. 1. The poster, in support of the upcoming BJP public meeting scheduled for November 29 in Dharmatalla, Kolkata, contains a direct threat to individuals planning to attend the meeting.

The message on the poster warns attendees that anyone from the area going to the BJP meeting will be compelled to leave the locality. Notably, the poster does not attribute the threat to any specific political party, organization, or individual, and it concludes with the phrase "Jai Bangla."

As preparations for the BJP meeting intensify, the party alleges that this threatening poster is the result of the Trinamool Congress's apprehension about the growing influence of the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP claims that such threats are an attempt to sabotage their public meeting.

However, local Trinamool Congress MLA Asit Majumdar refutes these allegations, asserting that the BJP is responsible for the controversial poster, using it as a publicity stunt, and denying any involvement by the Trinamool Congress.
