More than 3.5 crore pilgrims take holy bath during Amrit Snan at Mahakumbh
In the run-up to the elections in Jharkhand, a total of 101 FIRs have been lodged for alleged violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) between March 18 and June 1. These infractions range from distributing wedding cards urging votes to posting pictures from inside polling booths on social media platforms. Of the total FIRs, 49 were directed against the BJP and its allies, with an additional 18 aimed at INDIA parties.
Among the notable incidents, distribution of voter slips advocating for "400-plus" seats for the Modi government within the proximity of polling booths led to 19 FIRs across eight constituencies. Additionally, BJP MLA Dhullu Mahato was booked for organizing a rally without prior notification, while BJP MP Sanjay Seth faced allegations of using images of deities during a campaign event. Other violations included assault on advertisement vehicles, unauthorized road shows, and instances of promoting enmity by defaming national leaders.
