Overall voting percentage reaches 49.68% by 3pm, WB records 58.46%

As of 3 PM, the Election Commission's voter-turnout app reports an approximate overall polling percentage of 49.68% in the ongoing elections. 

West Bengal showcases a robust voter turnout of 58.46%. 

  • DumDum- 53.06%
  • Barasat- 59.69%
  • Basirhat- 66.76%
  • Jaynagar SC- 62.24%
  • Mathurapur SC- 63.66%
  • Jadavpur- 56.49%
  • Kolkata South- 50.61%
  • Kolkata North- 51.22%
  • Baranagar- 53.4%

As of other states, Jharkhand leads with 60.14%, Bihar records 42.95%, Chandigarh- 52.61%, Himachal Pradesh- 58.41%, Odisha- 49.77%,  Punjab- 46.38%, and Uttar Pradesh- 46.83%.
