A Pakistani drone crashed into a residential area in Punjab’s Firozpur district, injuring three members of a family and sparking concern among locals. The injured, including a man with burn injuries and his family members with minor wounds, were taken to the hospital and are now under medical care. The drone crashed onto a house, where the impact caused a fire in a vehicle parked nearby.
“We received information about three people being injured. They have burn injuries. Doctors will treat them,” said SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh Sidhu. He added that most of the drones had been neutralised by the army, highlighting the heightened security and active defence against cross-border threats. The incident comes amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan following recent escalations along the border.
