Parineeti Chopra, Raghav Chadha announce pregnancy on Instagram post: ‘Our little universe…’

Actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Monday announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news through a joint Instagram post featuring a decorated cake with golden baby footprints and the inscription “1+1=3,” along with a short video of the two walking hand-in-hand. The post was captioned, “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their wedding was attended by family, close friends, political leaders, and several personalities from the entertainment industry.

The announcement follows Raghav Chadha’s appearance with Parineeti on The Great Indian Kapil Show earlier this month, where he had hinted at their plans to expand the family. During the interaction, when host Kapil Sharma teased the couple about “good news,” Chadha had responded with, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge” (We’ll give you the good news soon).

Following Monday’s post, the couple received a flood of congratulatory messages from colleagues and friends. Actor Sonam Kapoor commented, “Congratulations darling,” while Bhumi Pednekar also shared, “Congratulations.” Fans extended wishes in large numbers in the comment section of the post.

On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh. She is next set to make her web series debut with an upcoming Netflix mystery thriller directed by Rensil D’Silva. The series features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, Soni Razdan, and Harleen Sethi in key roles.
