Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has started her campaign for the Paris Olympics 2024 with a win. Sindhu easily defeated Fathimath Nabbah Abdul Razzaq of Maldives in her Sunday match in Group M of women's singles.
Two-time Olympic medalist Sindhu won the first game 21-9 and the second game 21-6. Sindhu finished this match in about 29 minutes. Sindhu will face Kristin Kuba of Estonia on July 31 in her second group match.
This is the third Olympics for 29-year-old Sindhu. She won silver in the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
