The Patna Police on Wednesday arrested Pawan Mahto, a resident of the Digha police station area, after live ammunition, chemicals used in explosives, and protective gear resembling army equipment were seized from his house. The raid, conducted early in the morning following intelligence inputs, led to the discovery of 35 live cartridges, boxes of potassium nitrate, wall paint, and a 50-foot long chord commonly used in bomb fuses.
According to a release issued by the district police, Mahto was arrested on the spot. The seized items raise significant security concerns, prompting a thorough investigation to determine the intended use and potential threats posed by the discovered materials.
