In a public address in Gwalior on Sunday (3 March), the Congress leader pointedly remarked, "People are dying of hunger here," juxtaposing the opulence of the Ambani wedding with the struggles faced by many.

Gandhi's remarks have sparked discussions about wealth disparity and societal priorities. Rahul Gandhi, while referring to marriage, said, 'Now how can Rahul Gandhi show what he is saying? It will be seen on TV that Ambani ji's son is getting married. The wedding is happening with great pomp, people are coming from all over the world, selfies are being taken and you people are dying of hunger here'.
