A heart-wrenching incident of animal cruelty has shocked the residents of Uttar Pradesh's capital, Lucknow, as a pet dog was mercilessly beaten to death with bricks by a group of miscreants. The incident occurred in the Ashiana police station area, and the dog's owner, Ankit Rawat, identified the culprits responsible for the heinous act.
According to Rawat, he was sleeping in his plot when he heard agonizing screams from his beloved dog. Rushing outside, he was horrified to witness a group of men brutally thrashing the innocent animal with bricks and stones. Despite his attempts to intervene, the miscreants threatened him and even abused him.
Ankit Rawat promptly lodged a complaint with the police, and a case has been registered against the accused. The identified miscreants are named as Mumnna Rajput, Mohit, Karan, Sunny, Ajay, Vishal, and Harsh. The complaint has led to charges under various sections 504, 506, and animal cruelty Act at the Ashiana police station.
The shocking incident was recorded by some locals who arrived at the scene to witness the brutality. The accused fled the spot, taking the lifeless body of the dog with them.
