As Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 approaches on Saturday, May 25, voters across 58 constituencies in eight states and union territories are preparing to cast their ballots. Voting will take place from 7 AM to 6 PM, with results announced on June 4.
If a voter's name is on the electoral roll but they lack a Voter ID card, they can still vote by presenting alternative ID proofs. The Election Commission of India (ECI) confirms that various documents can substitute for a Voter ID. Voters can use an Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, bank or post office passbook, pension document, student ID, government service ID, health insurance smart card, Photo Voter Slip, SC/ST/OBC certificate, property documents, ration card, National Population Register smart card, physical disability certificate, or Ex-servicemen CSD Canteen Card.
