Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
In the ongoing investigation into the Parliament security breach incident, police sources have disclosed that burnt phone parts belonging to the accused have been recovered in Rajasthan. The recovered mobile phone components, in charred condition, were crucial evidence in the case.
However, the Delhi Police is yet to retrieve the phone of the main accused, Lalit Jha. Earlier revelations from police sources indicated that Lalit Jha had deliberately destroyed five mobile phones before reaching Delhi, complicating the investigative process.
Before the breach occurred, it was reported that the four accomplices handed over their phones to Lalit Jha to thwart the possibility of crucial information reaching the authorities. According to police sources, Lalit Jha, the accused in the Parliament security breach, destroyed not four but five mobile phones after fleeing to Kuchaman in Rajasthan.
Recently, Mahesh Kumawat, the sixth accused in the case, was granted seven-day custody by the Patiala House Court, following a request for a 15-day custodial remand by the Delhi Police.
