PK announces 'will not contest Bihar polls', claims Nitish won't return to power

Prashant Kishor (PK) has officially declared that he will not be contesting the upcoming high-octane Bihar assembly elections. The founder of Jan Suraaj party said that the move was necessary for the "greater good" and larger interests of his party's organizational growth.

The party has fielded political activist Chanchal Singh as its candidate against Tejashwi Yadav in Raghopur. PK said, "I can say with certainty that we will be either win handsomely or receive a drubbing."

Kishor asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is "definitely on its way out," and flatly claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar "will not return as chief minister." He previously predicted that Kumar’s JD(U) would struggle to secure even 25 seats in the 243-member assembly, and claims the party's outlook has only worsened.
