PM initiates 11-days fasting ritual ahead of 'Pran-Pratishtha' in Ayodhya

Before the consecration of Ram Lalla, PM Modi will perform 11-days fast, starting from today.The post said, 'Only 11 days are left for the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. I am fortunate that I will also be a witness to this auspicious occasion. I am starting a special ritual of 11 days from today.Ramlala's life is to be consecrated on January 22 in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. This information was given by PM Modi through a post on X on Friday.

In the message issued by the Prime Minister, it was said, 'In the scriptures, the consecration of the God's idol is a detailed and extensive process. For this, detailed rules have been given which have to be followed several days before the consecration. As a Ram devotee, the Prime Minister is dedicated to the construction and consecration of Ram temple with a sense of spiritual practice. He decided that despite all his busyness and responsibilities, he would follow all the rules and penances on the day of Pran Pratistha and before that with the same strictness as instructed in the scriptures.

For this, the Prime Minister has started the ritual of following Yama-Niyam for 11 days before consecration. The message further said that Dev Pratishtha has been described as the ritual of infusing divine consciousness into the mortal remains. For this, rules for fasting before the ritual have been prescribed in the scriptures. The Prime Minister continuously follows the rules like Brahmamuhurta Jagran, Sadhana and Satvik diet in his daily routine.

A message has been issued by the Prime Minister on Narendra Modi official YouTube channel. In this, PM Modi said, 'The auspicious moment of Praan Pratistha, that conscious moment of the living creation, that opportunity of spiritual experience... what nothing will happen at that moment in the sanctum sanctorum. I will be a witness to that sacred moment physically, but in my mind, in the vibration of my heart, 140 crore Indians will be with me. You will be with me. Every Ram devotee will be with me. That conscious moment will be a shared experience for all of us.

He said that I will take with me the inspiration of countless personalities who have dedicated their lives to the cause of Ram Mandir. Those statues of sacrifice and penance, 500 years of patience, that period of long patience, countless incidents of sacrifice and penance, stories of donors and sacrifices…. There are so many people whose names no one even knows. But the only credit of his life was the construction of Ram temple.

With only 11 days remaining until the Pran-Pratishtha of Bhagwan Shri Ram in Ayodhya, PM @narendramodi embarks on a special 11-day Anushthan beginning today.
