PM Modi ends 11-day fast following Ram temple's 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his 11-day special ritual on Monday, initiated on January 12, after participating in the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The fasting period ended as Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, a prominent spiritual figure, fed PM Modi 'Charanamrit,' a sweet milk-based drink used in rituals. Govind Dev Giri Maharaj commended the Prime Minister for his dedication in successfully completing the 11-day spiritual observance.

PM Modi had announced the commencement of this special ritual in an audio message posted on his official YouTube channel, expressing his privilege to witness the "historic" and "auspicious" occasion of the Ram temple's consecration. The 'Pran Pratishtha' ritual, led by PM Modi earlier in the day, unveiled the face of Ram Lalla. The Prime Minister, joined by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, performed the consecration ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple.
