PM Modi participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for Shri Kalki Dham, a Hindu shrine in Sambhal district, UP. The event saw PM Modi actively engage in puja rituals as he laid the foundation stone alongside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the chairman of Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust. Prior to the ceremony, Krishnam expressed pride in the moment, stating that millions of devotees awaited PM Modi's address from Kalki Dham, highlighting the significance of the occasion in the context of 'Sanatana Dharma.'
PM Modi also unveiled the temple's model and is set to address the gathering, while the event marks the inauguration of 14,500 projects worth over Rs 10 lakh crore across Uttar Pradesh.Shri Kalki Dham, overseen by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, is witnessing the active participation of various saints, religious leaders, and dignitaries during its construction. The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnam, emphasizing the collaborative efforts in the development of the shrine.
Following the ceremony, PM Modi is slated to inaugurate a multitude of projects across Uttar Pradesh, encompassing sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITeS, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, and education. These projects, totaling more than Rs 10 lakh crore, emerged from investment proposals received during the UP Global Investors Summit 2023. The ceremony is anticipated to draw around 5,000 participants, including industrialists, global and Indian firm representatives, ambassadors, high commissioners, and other distinguished guests.
