PM Modi launches scathing critique against Congress in MP rallies, affirms BJP's bid for second consecutive term

Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his verbal onslaught against the Congress during two consecutive election rallies in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. Asserting confidence in the BJP's ability to secure a second consecutive term, PM Modi addressed a range of issues, including the Centre's proposed ₹24,000 crore welfare scheme for the country's tribal population. In Betul, he criticized the Congress for seeking support from seers in the final phase of campaigning, highlighting that the party's false promises cannot compete with his guarantees.

PM Modi rebuked the Congress on various fronts, citing the abrogation of Article 370, the law against triple talaq, and the construction of the Ram temple. He questioned the party's perspective on India's development, asking which 'foreign glasses' they wear to overlook the nation's achievements. Expressing confidence in the people's 'love and trust,' the PM remarked that the Congress appears despondent, emphasizing his commitment to elevate the country's economy if given a third term in power.
