Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with a delegation from the Muslim community on Thursday, gifting them a 'chadar' intended for placement at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. The presentation of the sacred cloth is part of preparations for an upcoming event commemorating the death anniversary of the revered Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
Sharing images of the interaction on X, PM Modi expressed, "Met a Muslim community delegation. During our interaction, I presented the sacred Chadar, which will be placed during the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the esteemed Ajmer Sharif Dargah." In addition to the Prime Minister, the photos featured Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani and BJP Minority Morcha President Jamal Siddiqui, all actively participating in the exchange.
