TET pass candidates clash with police over SSC building campaign
Job seekers demand publication of eligible channels on website
Around 20 aspirants tried to lock the main gate of the SSC building and lift black clothes
On Monday, a clash broke out between police and TET pass candidates during the SSC Bhavan Abhiyan campaign organized by candidates for upper primary jobs who cleared TET 2016.
The campaign was called by the West Bengal Higher Primary Job Seekers Forum, demanding the publication of eligible channels on the website, immediate counseling, and recruitment of eligible candidates. When job seekers reached Bidhannagar Sector 5 station by Metro, a large force of Bidhannagar Police was already present outside.
The police forcefully dragged away the protesters. Meanwhile, around 20 aspirants tried to lock the main gate of the SSC building and lift black clothes. Police personnel pounced on them, resulting in the arrest of twenty people taken to Bidhannagar East Police Station.
The SSC building campaign of TET pass candidates has sparked controversy and created chaos.
