Police arrest six in connection with Ponzi Scheme worth Rs. 2.09 Cr

Six individuals have been arrested in connection with a Ponzi scheme worth Rs. 2.09 crore in Newtown,Kolkata
The case was registered on November 2nd, 2022, after a complaint was filed by Mr. Jawahar Lal Rakshit of Uttar Para Hooghly
The suspects, all associated with Ecom Market Seller India, allegedly lured innocent people into investing in the scheme with a promise to return 40% more money after 30 days

Six individuals have been arrested in connection with a Ponzi scheme worth Rs. 2.09 crore in Newtown, Kolkata.

The case was registered on November 2nd, 2022, after a complaint was filed by Mr. Jawahar Lal Rakshit of Uttar Para Hooghly. The suspects, all associated with Ecom Market Seller India, allegedly lured innocent people into investing in the scheme with a promise to return 40% more money after 30 days.

The police conducted a raid and arrested Mani Mayank, Ravi Chowdhury, Priya Bhattacharya Sarkar, Tajdar Hossain Ansari, Kaushik Kabiraj, and Arpita Chatterjee in connection with the case.
