As the final preparations for the Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ramlala in Ayodhya are underway, the Lucknow Police Headquarters has issued a directive prohibiting policemen on duty from using smartphones during the event. The consecration ceremony, scheduled for January 22, will see the Prime Minister performing rituals to consecrate Ramlala.
Security measures for Ayodhya have been elevated to fortify the region, with the involvement of agencies such as Intelligence Bureau, RAW, and the application of Artificial Intelligence. The UP Police's recent order specifies that from January 22 to 26, policemen in sensitive areas of Ayodhya, where the ceremony will take place, are not allowed to use smartphones to ensure their focused attention on duty.
