According to allegations, the victim, identified as Ranveer Dalui, had recently joined the Trinamool Congress from the BJP during a rally in the Bally Nabin Sangha area. Supporters claimed that he was attacked and beaten up soon after his political shift, triggering anger among party workers. The incident has led to heightened political tensions in the area, with demands for swift police action continuing.
