Poonam Pandey clarifies rumors of death, raises awareness on cervical cancer

Model, actor, and reality TV star Poonam Pandey dispelled rumors of her demise, asserting her vitality in a series of videos shared on Instagram. This follows a conflicting post by her manager claiming she succumbed to cervical cancer. In the videos, Poonam apologized for the shock caused by the false news and expressed pride in sparking conversations around the often-overlooked issue of cervical cancer.

 Poonam Pandey took to Instagram to address the unsettling news about her alleged demise due to cervical cancer. In a candid video, she stated, "I am alive. I didn't die of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, I can't say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer." Poonam emphasized the gravity of the disease, urging awareness and education.

The actor acknowledged the extreme nature of her actions, admitting to faking her death to draw attention to the crucial conversation surrounding cervical cancer. "Yes, I faked my demise, extreme I know. But suddenly, we all are talking about cervical cancer, aren't we?" she remarked. Poonam underscored the preventability of cervical cancer through the HPV vaccine and early detection tests, advocating for critical awareness to eliminate the devastating impact of the disease. She encouraged everyone to strive for a world where no one loses their life to cervical cancer.
